Q: Is Delegate Law a law firm?
A: No, Delegate It Law is not a law firm.  Delegate It Law is a virtual legal assistance company, owned and operated by a lawyer. Think of us as your virtual law associate. We provide the sort of assistance an attorney would expect from their legal associate: cover virtual hearings, research legal issues, draft pleadings, and more.
Q: Who works on the assignments?
Licensed attorneys.

Q: What type of work do you do?
A: Draft pleadings, prepare motions, provide litigation and trial support, draft briefs and memoranda of law, and prepare and respond to discovery.

Q: What areas of practice do you mostly assist with?
A: Most of the work we assist with is in the areas of personal injury, criminal law, family law, foreclosure, and other civil matters.

Q: What is the typical turnaround time?
A: The typical turnaround time is 7 business days, at most. Many times, you will receive your completed assignment in 3 days. We will let you know if we need more time to complete a task.

Q: I suffer from FOMU (Fear of Messing Up) and I like to control every aspect of a case that I am responsible for; how can I know Delegate It Law will do a good job?
A: We are very adamant about your work-life balance and we want you to get into the habit of delegating. This is why you will have licensed attorneys working on and reviewing your assignments and caring about the quality of your work as much as you do. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.

Q: Do you use my template or yours?
While a template is not required, we would prefer to use a template of yours as this would move the work along much faster, particularly for jurisdictions that have specific presentation requirements.

Q: Do you talk to my clients?
A: For confidentiality reasons, Delegate It Law will not interact with or speak to any of your clients without your permission. There may be moments where we need simple client information from you and we may reach out to you or your office for this information. Please note that delays in providing this information can result in the task being completed later than originally anticipated.  We do understand that there are moments where client interaction is necessary for quick and efficient completion of a task and in such rare moments, Delegate It Law may make exceptions.
